FIGHT TO WIN  SPARTANBURG​

Royce Gracie Black Belt, Ben Holder started his adult life as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army at the young age of 17. After nearly a decade of service he was honorably discharged as an E-5 Sergeant in 2005. After leaving the military he started boxing to stay in shape until he discovered Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. 

 

In 2007 Ben started his Jiu Jitsu career and earned his blue belt from Roberto Traven in October 2009. A year later Ben joined Royce Gracie Black Belt, Steve Hall and the Fight to Win team. Steve Hall received his black belt directly from Royce Gracie, the son of Hélio Gracie. In July 2014 Ben earned his purple belt and went on to open Fight to Win Spartanburg in May 2015. 

 

Ben earned his purple and brown belt from Steve Hall. In October of 2021 Ben received his black belt from the legendary Royce Gracie and is highly respected by his students at Fight to Win Spartanburg. There is no shortage of praise, from students and parents alike, on his teaching style.
